The best of professionals

At the Moorings Presbyterian Preschool our teaching staff brings to the program a wealth of experience in early childhood education, as well as a deep commitment to our young students. We have worked together to develop a learning environment that is both challenging and nurturing. Most importantly, we believe that children learn best when accepted and encouraged by the adults around them, whether at home or school. Be assured Moorings is a happy place to grow and learn.

• 63% of our teachers hold Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education or Child Development;

• 50% hold Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education or Child Development;

• 6 % hold a CDA certificate;

• 100% of our specialists hold degrees in their respective fields.

The Moorings Presbyterian Church, in its outreach to the larger community, has blessed us with a safe and pleasant environment.  We are fortunate to enjoy the use of the Sanctuary, Baker Family Life Center, and Moss Hall.

We understand the importance of good communication and are always interested in knowing of special events and happenings within your family. We encourage you to visit us at the preschool and join in school activities.
